Penny Wigs Review!

Hey guys and dolls!! I am back and with some wicked cool news! Earlier this week my first sponsor,  Penny Dreads & Wigs sent me one of the most amazing wigs I have ever owned. It isn't available on the website just yet but....it is a must own piece.

Monday I checked the mail to find an awesome package awaiting with my name on it from Penny Wigs. I was soooo excited I couldn't wait to actually film opening it. I ripped into the plastic and out came the wig bag holding the beauty. Two really cool business cards we're placed in the bag as well.

As for shipping, it was SUPER fast. Amanda the owner at Penny Wigs was sweet enough to actually contact me herself and let me know when it was going to be shipped. That's customer service you never get! The wig was wrapped really nicely in netting and stuffed with paper to help keep its shape. After taking it out and shaking it real good, I ran into the house to try it on. The fringe was quite a bit long for my liking, but I also have a small forehead/face. I did do some trimming on it to actually see lol.
So here we go, my favorite things about the wig! I adore how soft it is, seriously I have other wigs from other companies and none of them are this soft. Also, the color on this thing....holy crap! the mint is a true mint. I wasn't sure how it would look with my olive skin tone but I love it and so did my husband! The grey in it is a perfect stone grey, not too light and not too dark. It definately compliments the mint green. I wore it all day today and I haven't had any tangle issues....at all. Which if you wear synthetic wigs you know can be a nightmare!! I paired two different lippies with it to show how versitile the wig can be. I love how both looks turned out honestly. Here are a few pics!

I then decided to add NYX Wicked Lippie in Cold Hearted. My kitten Bellatrix wouldn't leave me alone while trying to take pics so I got a good one with her too!

Overall, I'm completely in love with this wig. This month my bff and I have a shoot in Austin, Tx with Megaship Cosplay. Where this beauty will get pro shots!

Once again I want to thank Penny Wigs for this amazing opportunity to represent their brand and share some of their amazing art with you guys. To see more of Penny Wigs click on the links below!

Thanks again for hanging out and I hope you're all enjoying my blog!
Lots more to come in the next month!!

XOXO

  1. Using a wig brush on a wig is okay, but I suggest using a METAL WIDE TOOTH COMB. Refrain from http://www.vohair.com pulling the comb forcefully through the tangles. Pulling will not only short ombre hairstyles pull the hair off of the "tracks" of the wig but the pulling. Spray your wig with a light oil sheen to restore luster that was lost while getting rid of the tangles. For straight styles brush in long, even, gentle strokes. Starting at the bottom, chinese hair gently comb the hair using a downward motion, with a wide-tooth comb or finger style.
